If you want to take your creator business to the next level, one of the smartest moves you can make is building your own blog and portfolio website. As a UGC creator or content creator, your website becomes the professional home for your brand, a place where brands, clients, and followers can find you, see your work, and connect with you directly.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through how to set up a stunning portfolio website using SiteGround and WordPress — the exact setup I use myself.

When I first started as a creator, I quickly realized that having a website changed everything. Starting scrappy is great with a free one page website design for your portfolio, or even just a PDF, but once you’re ready to grow, having a website is SO important. Here’s why it matters:
A website, blog and portfolio aren’t just “nice-to-have” — they’re your business foundation. This is the next step in your business as a professional creator, and brands take you seriously with this level of professionalism and brand.
When creating a website, you need a place for it to live online, and that’s called “web hosting”. After trying different hosting platforms, I’ve stuck with SiteGround for years – both for my websites and my design clients. I chose them mainly for their reliability and the fact that everything I need is included without hidden fees or complicated add-ons, such as:
They’re also consistently rated among the top hosting providers in the industry.

So next we are going to set up your essential pages for your portfolio and brand, and I’ll walk you through the exact content you’ll need as a UGC & Content Creator on your new wordpress website & blog portfolio!
Your portfolio site doesn’t need to be complicated, so start with these core pages:
Your website isn’t just a collection of pretty photos — it’s your digital first impression. Here’s what to include to make it stand out and convert:
Include 6–10 of your strongest examples across different categories (beauty, lifestyle, food, etc.). Mix photo and video work to show variety and skill. You can download my free guide here of the exact videos to have in your portfolio to attract brands and have them saying YES immediately!
💡 Pro tip: Choose content that looks organic but polished. Brands want to see how your work performs in real-world, scroll-stopping settings.
If you’ve helped brands improve engagement or conversions through your content, highlight those results.
Add any client feedback, even from gifted collabs or smaller brands. This builds instant credibility.
Include a short section about your niche (e.g., “Clean beauty & wellness content that builds brand trust”).
If applicable, add a few audience stats or demographics to show who you reach.
Let brands know exactly how they can work with you — UGC videos, product photos, blog features, social posts, etc.
You can include a simple pricing guide or a “Request a Quote” button linked to your contact form.
You can also embed a PDF or link to download your media kit for quick access for brand inquiries.
Now that your site is live, let’s make it work for you:
